Formula

La Mer prides itself on an industry patented formula known as ‘The Miracle Broth’. After research for 12 years, one of the most well-known brands in the beauty industry has developed the Creme de la Mer by carefully selecting and fermenting natural ingredients such as sea kelp, lime tea and eucalyptus oil. The floral scent is a nice touch too, although those of you with allergies might need to be careful.

Effects

Originally crafted to heal wounds and treat scars, Creme La Mer hydrates the skin deeply and restores its natural plumpness. It fills fine lines and improves dermal texture while at the same time having a calm soothing effect on the skin.

Use

Follow the brand’s well known ‘Application Ritual’. Take a pea sized amount of the cream and keep it between your fingertips until it becomes transparent. Once the cream has warmed up apply on your face and neck with circular movements.

Skin Types

Creme de la Mer seems to be especially designed for dry skin. Studies on petrolatum and paraffin have shown that these ingredients tend to sit on the skin for a long period of time without being absorbed. That can provoke the breakout of acne when used on sensitive skin.
