OVERALL ANALYSIS

BeautyStat cosmetics offers a premium Vitamin C Serum containing an impressive 20% pure concentrated Vitamin C per serving. In theory, many products advertise a certain amount of Vitamin C on their label but in practice the serums lose value when exposed to oxygen. Not BeautyStat! Their patented Vitamin C stabilization system protects it from oxidation and ensures it is just as potent each time you apply it. Not only that, but it is the only serum on the market that shows no degradation or color change overtime.

BeautyStat is 100% natural! This fragrance-free serum feels soft on your skin and is absorbed instantly into the inner layers of your epidermis. Its blend of nutrients includes EGCG (the active ingredient in green tea), exfoliating tartaric acid and squalane which together with Vitamin C slow down the aging process leading to smoother glowing skin for longer. Better yet, it is appropriate for all skin types, from dry to oily and even sensitive skin.

If you are looking for an affordable serum that has a high Vitamin C content and proven rapid results, don’t look further than our experts recommended Vitamin C Serum by BeautyStat Cosmetics.

OVERALL ANALYSIS

The name comes from the combination of water-soluble age-control and oil-based lipidic ingredients. This factor allows for a more complete serum and makes it suitable for the whole spectrum of skin types. Used once or twice a day, the Double Serum does reduce pore visibility and restores a natural glow.

The oil in this serum is said to be derived from more than 20 plant extracts. However, it does feel quite oily when applied on the skin and sits on top for a long time without actually getting absorbed. This can be corrected by using an additional moisturizer.

If fragrance is something you look for in your Vitamin C Serum, the Double Serum is right up your alley! The perfume scent is a nice addition for those put away by some of the other more natural but stinky creams on the market.

OVERALL ANALYSIS

Known for its patented TNS growth factor technology, SkinMedica has established itself as one of the top brands in the beauty sector over the past 20 years. Just as with the other two serums, SkinMedica’s product consists of a Vitamin C and Alpha-tocopherol (Vitamin E) blend. These powerful antioxidants fight against free radicals and promote a healthy and radiant skin. The paraben free formula smooths fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin C+E Complex prides itself on reviving and restoring the natural glow of your skin. Make sure you store the serum at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees, to keep the right consistency and properties effective for a longer period of time.

SkinMedica advises that the serum is used daily for best results. Users report a significantly brighter complexity and even skin tone when using the product even though it does take longer than other products to see results

OVERALL ANALYSIS

PCA Skin C&E contains 15% Vitamin C and 5% Vitamin E. Its formula neutralizes free radicals and promotes collagen synthesis. It also contains Vitamin A which helps even out skin tone and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. PCA Skin promises a stronger smoother skin in just two weeks!

The serum works best when applied in the mornings after cleansing your face and neck. You may experience a slightly uncomfortable tingling sensation upon application. Overtime it helps reduce dreaded skin imperfections such as hyperpigmentation and brown spots.

Considering its hefty price tag it doesn’t really represent good value for money especially when considering there are serums that are much cheaper and offer more Vitamin C concentration per serving.

OVERALL ANALYSIS

The label says it all. Skin Ceuticals offers a product that contains 15% Vitamin C as well as 1% Vitamin E and 0.5% Ferulic Acid. The three nutrients combine to create a protective shield to pollution and sun while reversing cell aging. When used in combination with sunscreen, it has shown an even more effective protection from UV light. Aside from its oxidant qualities, the serum also helps replenish lipids in order to keep a smooth firm skin.

Even though the serum is advertised as suitable for all skin types, optimal results are shown when applied to normal and dry skin. This could be a limitation that makes the product less versatile when compared to competitors.

Skin Ceuticals recommend applying the cream in the morning for optimal results. Due to the fact that CE Ferulic doesn’t contain any added fragrance to its formula, the product does exhibit a specific smell that some users have compared to “hot dog water”. Probably not the ideal aroma to wake up to.

Top 5 Best Hyaluronic Acid Serums Buying Guide

Our team of researchers and testers vigoriously assessed the best vitamin C serum products on the market. We checked key factors such as the concentration of vitamin C, vitamin E, Tartaric acid and the quality of anti-aging properties which are essential for your face and body.

Keep reading for some more useful information that will help you pick The Best Hyaluronic Acid Serums 2020

What is a Hyaluronic Acid Serum?

We all know Vitamin C is good for us, but what exactly does Hyaluronic Acid Serum do? Also known as ascorbic acid, this vitamin is not produced or stored in our organism. Instead, it needs to be acquired through a healthy diet or natural supplements. Hyaluronic Acid Serum stimulates the production of collagen in connective tissues and serves as a powerful antioxidant for your immune system. Not to mention being packed with countless boosting properties for your skin!

What are the benefits of a Hyaluronic Acid Serum?

Unfortunately, our skin suffers the consequences of our fast paced, modern lifestyle. Constantly exposed to pollution, dust, smoke and over exposure to the sun inevitably eventually takes its toll on your epidermis. In the same way your body needs healthy food in order to function to its full capacity, for your skin to be radiant, it needs to be nourished with the right vitamins and minerals.

The Best Hyaluronic Acid Serum:

  • Increases the body’s collagen production

  • Reverses cell aging

  • Neutralizes free radicals in skin

  • Improves skin imperfections

  • Provides UV protection

How to choose the Best Hyaluronic Acid Serum?

  • Concentration of Vitamin C
The higher the concentration level of L-ascorbic acid in your Vitamin C Serum, the better. An effective product should contain at least 10% and in the best case scenario - 15% or 20%. With a market-leading 20% concentration BeautyStat ensures you will be obtaining the optimal daily dose of Vitamin C while getting the best value for your money.
  • Vitamin E & Exfoliating Tartaric Acid
Research shows that Vitamin C is most effective when absorbed along with other potent nutrients. Both Vitamin E and tartaric acid are powerful antioxidants that enhance the function of Vitamin C. The combination of the three strengthens the skin barrier and decreases formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Price
Higher prices don’t always mean better quality. Make sure you select a product that has been clinically tested and contains nothing but high quality ingredients. Keep an eye on the percentage of Vitamin C actually included. When you’ve found that, then check the price. Priced at only $59.95 it is hard to look past BeautyStat when considering best value for money.

How to use the Best Hyaluronic Acid Serum?

There is conflicting research on whether applying a Vitamin C serum during the daytime is more effective than doing it at night. What is certain is that you should use it once every 48 - 72 hours in order to enjoy satisfying results. Important hint, store the serum in a cool dark place, otherwise the L-ascorbic acid can start to go brown overtime. If stored properly and utilized regularly however, a Vitamin C serum optimizes its properties and serves as a long-lasting protective shield for your skin.
